Coffee Ice Cream
This makes an excellent ice cream
This is provided by Ann
2 eggs, (separated).
2oz icing sugar, (sieved ).
2 tablespoons of coffee essence
¼ pint double cream.
1). Whisk egg whites until very stiff, then gradually whisk in the icing sugar.
2). Whisk egg yolks and coffee essence together, and whisk gradually in to egg whites.
3). Lightly whip the cream and fold it into the coffee mixture.
4). Pour into a suitable container and place it in the freezer.
